Waiter Rant...
Tonight I was the 242nd post on the Waiterrant.net blog. Woah.
It's fun to think about....being so interesting that HUNDREDS of people sit waiting for your next posting....Kinda like waiting for the next Harry Potter book to come out!
But Waiter was feeling great angst the other night.
He is nearly forty, unmarried and still working at the job he's been at for over seven years.
Hundreds of people wrote him encouraging words...you're great. You are wonderful. You're not a loser.
It just reminded me that we are whatever we THINK we are!
And what someone else thinks of us is more about THEM than it is about us.
We are what we think...we attract to our lives whatever we put out to the world.
I say go visit his blog. Want some great stories? Laugh your head off? Here's lookin' at you, Waiter!!

Funny - I've heard it said that if we knew how little other people think of us, then we'd spend a lot less time worrying about how we are perceived by others.
I say: Live your life, be a decent person, never pass up an opportunity to do the kind or decent thing, and you'll be fine.
Good for Waiter for attracting such support - no doubt his spirit is buoyed by those encouragin' words!

You know, I think you might be having trouble seeing the haloscan comments on your computer. You were the only commenter on blogger's comments and didn't seem to see the haloscan comments beneath. Big Dick doesn't use Blogger's comments, only haloscan. That might be your problem.
